Partnership forms to refurbish the building
Brandon Community Hall is in need of considerable refurbishment to unlock its full potential as a home for our Nationally important Table Tennis Club, and any other group that might wish to use it. It needs a new roof, windows, asbestos removal, heating system and car park.
Green Party Cllr Jonathan Elmer has brought together all the players who can together tackle the barriers that prevent this work. (the County Council, CISWO and Brandon Community Association) and is driving this project forwards. We will soon be positioned to start raising the funds needed to complete this work.
Cllr Jonathan Elmer said: "This facility could be a valuable asset to the community but is in serious need of repair. With security of tenure, the Community Association and clubs that rent space in the centre will be free to grow and prosper"
